Huntington Beach, CA – May 13, 2010 – Alphalogix, (www.alphalogix.com) an Independent Software Vendor and IBM Premiere Business Partner, announces CEO Robert McCandless’ presentation of a session on IBM Forms with Workflow for the Pacific Lotus User Group (PACLUG) occurring June 21-22nd in Las Vegas, Nevada. The session, entitled “Building the Next Generation Web Experience with IBM Forms with Workflow – Without Coding” will present how the IBM Forms with Workflow, powered by Tasica Workflow from Alphalogix, can help businesses build interactive portal experiences for IBM WebSphere Portal.

In 2010, Alphalogix announced a new agreement with IBM, allowing IBM to sell the Alphalogix Tasica Workflow in a combined offering with IBM Forms. The new product, IBM Forms with Workflow, allows businesses to create and manage electronic forms and corresponding workflow applications. The product enables users of any skill level to create applications with a point and click, graphical design environment and requires no custom coding.

At the 2011 PACLUG, Mr. McCandless will demonstrate how businesses can use IBM Forms with Workflow to rapidly create and manage role-based applications in their IBM WebSphere Portal. These applications can be tailored to the roles and preferences of the users creating unique and dynamic environments. Mr. McCandless will explain how to build robust applications that integrate customization through corporate directories, databases, document repositories, web services and Business Process Management systems. The audience will see how the highly graphical, integrated electronic form and workflow design environment allows a user to build applications with no custom coding. The solution automatically creates source-code to ease complex integration and development.

Finally, Mr. McCandless will demonstrate how IBM Forms with Workflow integrates into IBM WebSphere Portal environments with several customizable JSR 168 and 286 portlets. These portlets allow employees, partners and customers to work with workflow applications in addition to other business applications including email, calendars, and reports in a single web environment.

Tasica Workflow Server, the no-code, human-centric workflow engine that enables electronic forms routing for self-centric workflow applications, now provides tighter integration with eforms for IBM Forms 4.0.

Huntington Beach, CA – December 13, 2010 – Alphalogix, an Independent Software Vendor and IBM Premier Business Partner, announced today that their Tasica Workflow Server version 3.4.1 offers new enhancements that integrate with IBM’s recent update to its electronic forms offering, IBM Forms 4.0. Recently, IBM signed an OEM agreement with Alphalogix to sell the Alphalogix product bundled with IBM Forms in a new IBM sku number called IBM Forms with Workflow. The Tasica Workflow Server 3.4.1 now offers several enhancements including tighter integration with electronic forms and electronic form parts produced in the new IBM Forms 4.0 as well as faster installation performance.

Tasica Workflow is the workflow engine in IBM Forms with Workflow, IBM’s core eform and process automation offering that was released in September of this year. In the combined offering, users of all skill levels can easily apply business logic and decisions to dynamic electronic forms in a highly graphical design environment requiring no programming. Designers can build self-service applications for a web or portal environments making it easy for businesses to customize web experiences for their customers or employees. IBM now sells IBM Forms with Workflow to their clients in addition to IBM Forms. IBM Forms 4.0 with Workflow is expected to be released in before the end of 2010.

Tasica Workflow also allows for easy integration into enterprise portal environments including IBM WebSphere Portal enabling businesses to view, submit and manage their electronic forms and workflow processes along side all of their corporate information in a single point of access. Customization of role-based portal experiences comes naturally as businesses are able to use Tasica Workflow to create, manage and control applications for specific departments, employees, partners and customers.

IBM’s new update to IBM Forms 4.0 helps drive IBM’s smarter planet, smarter work and exceptional web experiences initiatives by adding a modern look and feel, lower total cost of ownership and support for new technology and platforms. New electronic forms features include Web 2.0 form experiences, reusable forms parts across multiple forms, improved web services support and added platform support including Apple’s iPad for its WebForm Server to its dynamic electronic forms.

According to IDC, the process automation market is significantly growing at the rate of $2.5B through 2015. This, coupled with Gartner research demonstrating that electronic forms adoption will be mainstream in two years, shows how businesses are increasingly assessing their “green” resources and finding that paper reduction initiatives are easy way to reduce costs and improve their customer, partner and employee experiences with their operations. By adding in effective process automation, businesses are finding that accurate data collection and exchange can be accomplished, without duplicate human data entry and risk of lost action items or critical data.

In November, Alphalogix announced Tasica Workflow 3.4, adding robust workflow capabilities including web services support, document repository support including IBM Lotus Quickr and full support of HTML forms, while keeping consistent with its ease of use for users of all skill levels.

New version of Tasica Workflow now supports integration with IBM Lotus Quickr providing businesses increased productivity and collaboration in robust workflows and management of electronic forms and eform data.

Huntington Beach, CA – November 22, 2010 – Alphalogix, an Independent Software Vendor and IBM Premiere Business Partner, announced today that Tasica Workflow continues to expand its integration with IBM Lotus software with Tasica Workflow 3.4’s support of IBM Lotus Quickr document repository software. This integration allows businesses to leverage Tasica Workflow to efficiently route critical electronic forms to and from IBM Lotus Quickr’s team spaces and content libraries through self-service workflow applications. Tasica and Lotus Quickr can easily improve productivity by making it easier for employees to manage and collaborate on a wide variety of workflow processes and electronic forms.

Most businesses deploy a content management system within their operational infrastructure to manage folders and files. File based content management systems have a risk of inefficiencies including file loss and duplication. For fully comprehensive workflows, Tasica Workflow solutions integrate with IBM Lotus software to help avoid a loss in productivity and to provide real-time communication. Tasica Workflow with IBM Lotus Quickr allows businesses to incorporate the document repository within a workflow process such as in an approval system. Tasica Workflow can automatically send electronic forms and vital eform data to the specific libraries of an individual or department within an organization. As a records based system, Lotus Quickr, avoids risk of file duplication and subsequently, makes it easy for teams to share and collaborate on up-to-date electronic forms and eform templates.

Tasica Workflow Designer makes it easy for users of all skill levels to attach electronic forms or eform templates saved in a Lotus Quickr library to a workflow application. In the no code, point and click, graphic design environment, users can open and browse the Quickr library where an electronic form is stored and attach it to the workflow they are designing or modifying.

For customized management of Tasica Workflow applications, users can leverage a web interface or enterprise class portal including IBM WebSphere Portal.
